British sprinter Amy Hunt is aiming to make European Championships history this weekend by becoming the first athlete to claim four gold medals in a single week at the event. The 24-year-old Cambridge University graduate has already won the 100m and 200m titles, and is now poised to add two more in the mixed relay and the 4x100m relay on Saturday and Sunday.

Vogue once named Hunt among the faces set to define the decade during her teenage years. After navigating several painful detours in recent seasons, she is now on the verge of becoming the first athlete in the 92-year history of the European Championships to win four golds in the same week.

Known for her academic background and passion for the Italian Renaissance, Hunt brings an unusual profile to the sprint track. Her strong performances have also made her the second favourite to win the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year award.
